Our main video studio is adapted from the existing audio studio and gives us the advantage of being acoustically treated and perfect for sound recording. It’s linked to the master control room by multi-core. The entire of Lost Boys Studio is solar powered, so there’s no guilt in running lights all day for our productions or keeping computers on for long renders, as is so typical of any production.
We are located on Hill Green Farm, near Bedford which is a beautiful arable farm with large fields perfect for video and photography. There are range of different crops in the fields, a duck pond and an area of woods at the rear of the farm allowing for lots of variety in one location. We have even used barns when we’ve needed to upscale productions, off season of course!
We have worked on television content for most major U.K channels as well as work for international clients. We have also worked on adverts, music videos, corporate videos, and feature films. Our graphics abilities range from high-accuracy data driven applications, such as GPS mapping and financial charts, to highly imaginative compositing work to create new worlds and stunning visual effects.
We have Avid, Premier and Final Cut capabilities for our NLEs, Adobe Creative Cloud programs, a range of compositing and Pro Tools audio suites (see audio for more detail). We can record voice overs, ADR, foley and even the music for your production and it’s sound design. We also have a wide range of camera equipment and lighting in-house. We can create everything you could possibly want for a finely honed production.
